한 장 한 장 뜯어 먹고 있을 때 말야
그게 내 겨울 식량이었어
한 장 씩, 결국 바닥이 드러날 때까지 삼켰어
마치 움직이는 그림, 혹은 소리없는 영상처럼
움직이는 그림, 혹은 무성 영화의 장면들처럼

구원에 대한 그 모든 이야기는 단지 꿈이었을까
나의 심장은 천천히 잦아들어
점점 더 느려지다가
이제 거의 움직이지 않는데
아무것도 느껴지지 않는데

사랑을 위해서라고 생각했어
아니, 최소한 아름다운 무언가를 위해서
그래서 난 그 스포트라이트 한 가운데 섰던 거였어
그러나 문득 뒤를 돌아다보니
가늘게 뜬 두 눈 사이로 들어온 것은
내게로 돌진하는 헤드라이트였지
진실이란 그토록 가혹하고도 성급하게
두 자락 그림자를 드리운 동물들을 엄습한다

마치 점선을 이어 그림을 완성하듯
점선을 따라 그림을 그리듯
