어깨를 내리누르는 짐을 벗어던지고

난 길게 자란 잔디 위에 앉아 허공을 바라보다
이제 그만 떠날 시간이라고 소리를 치지만
아무도 내 말을 듣지 않고

자유를 향한 심판대 위에 서있네

밤이 오면 나는 차를 몰아
닿을 수 있는 가장 높은 곳으로 올라가
정상에 선 채 바람에 찢겨져 나가는 나뭇잎들을 바라보며
온 몸에 전율을 느끼지

죽음과 싸우는 그 모습..
모든 숨결마다
죽음이 서려 있는...

우린 곧 높다란 담장으로 둘러싸인 감옥에로 돌아가야만 하네
오로지 차갑던 강물과 길게 자란 잔디만을 그리는
